Rack Trays

Rack Trays

This product is designed for the safe, efficient transport of printed circuit boards while protecting them from static electricity. We use molded containers or corrugated plastic boxes, customizing them for the number and size of printed circuit boards they will contain.

By minimizing the contact with mounted components that is inevitable when using ordinary dividers, and by limiting play, our rack trays store and transport safely while reducing defect rates. They can also be custom processed to improve handling or through the addition of conductive cushioning.

・Container Type / Corrugated Plastic Type
The side guides into which dividers are inserted are fixed to the box. Using the rack tray is as simple as adjusting the dividers.
(How to Use)
1.Adjust the position of the dividers to fit the width of the printed circuit boards.
2.Insert printed circuit boards for storage.

・Simplified Type
Rather than being fixed to the box, the side guides are attached to conductive corrugated plastic sheets, making them removable from the box. In this way, the boxes can be used either as rack trays or, with the dividers removed, as ordinary boxes.
(How to Use)
1.Fold the corrugated plastic sheet with side guides into a u-shape and place it into the conductive box.
2.Insert the dividers where you want them.
3.Insert printed circuit boards and adjust the dividers.

Feature 1: Compatible With Small-lot, Multi-item Printed Circuit Boards

Feature 1: Compatible With Small-lot, Multi-item Printed Circuit Boards

By changing the position of the dividers to fit the dimensions of the printed circuit boards, it is possible to pack printed circuit boards with different dimensions in a single box. Dividers can be designed in 1mm increments to fit the size of printed circuit boards, and adjusted in 4mm increments after production.

Feature 2: Reduces Stress on Mounted Components

Feature 2: Reduces Stress on Mounted Components

Since the printed circuit boards are held on two sides, there is no stress on their mounted components. Usually, mounted components are subject to stress through contact with dividers during transport, but our rack trays do not come into contact with such components, reducing defect rates. The further addition of cushioning above and below can eliminate concerns about movement within the box during transport.

Feature 3: Customizable to Fit Contents

We can offer the vacuum molded grooved boards that are attached to the dividers in various specifications. We can suggest specifications that are optimal for securely fixing the product in question in place, using shallower grooves for printed circuit boards whose components are mounted to their edge and deeper grooves for larger boards. When standard grooved board options do not offer the right fit, we will manufacture new options that do.
